Market Predictability Engine answers a question most indicators skip: is the market currently moving in an orderly, repeatable way, or is it mostly noise? It measures how structured recent price movement has been at three different pattern depths and ranks the result against the market's own recent history, so a reading of 90 means the market is more orderly than it has been almost all of the time, whatever the symbol or timeframe.
Orderly phases are where trend following and breakout tools tend to behave as expected, while noisy phases are where signals fail more often and patience pays. The result is drawn as a glowing trail under price, optional candle colors and a compact panel, so the state of the market is always visible without opening a lower pane.
🔹 Key Features
Composite Predictability Score
A score from 0 to 100 combines three pattern depths and ranks them against recent history. High values mean unusually orderly movement, low values mean unusually noisy movement.
Three Pattern Depths
Short, medium and long patterns are scored separately, and the panel shows each one with its own meter, so you can see whether order is present at every scale or only at one.
Predictability Trail
A trail with a soft glow runs under price and takes the ordered color during predictable phases, the noisy color during noisy phases and a quiet neutral tone in between.
Phase Markers
Small diamonds mark the bar where a predictable phase begins below the candle, and where a noisy phase begins above it.
Direction Bias
While the market is predictable, the panel shows whether recent movement has leaned up or down, and a small triangle marks the first bar of a new bullish or bearish lean.
Deep Alignment
When all three depths agree on the same phase at once, a separate Deep Alignment signal fires for the strongest conditions.
Predictability Candles
Candles can take the phase color directly, so orderly and noisy stretches stand out across the whole chart.
Information Panel
A compact panel shows the composite score, the score of each depth, the current direction bias and the current phase.
Organized Settings
Inputs are grouped into Predictability, Display and Colors. The panel and the candle colors can each be switched off, and the ordered, noisy and neutral colors are customizable.
Built In Signals
Predictable Phase Emerged, Noisy Phase Emerged, Deep Predictable Alignment and Deep Noisy Alignment are available for alerts, scanners and strategies. Only OHLC data is needed, so it works on stocks, ETFs, indices, futures, forex and crypto on any timeframe.
