Statistical Valuation Oscillator measures how expensive or cheap price is compared with its own recent fair value, and it judges that distance against the symbol's own history instead of fixed thresholds. Two fair value models, a fast one and a slow one, track the trend of price on a logarithmic scale. How far price sits above or below each model is then ranked against the recent distribution of the same distance, which turns it into a reading from minus 100 for a historically deep discount to plus 100 for a historically extreme premium.
The fast and slow readings are blended into one valuation line shown as a ribbon against its signal line, the slow model is drawn as a soft backdrop for context, and gauges at the top and bottom of the pane show when both models and the momentum of the reading agree. It works on stocks, ETFs, indices, futures, forex and crypto, on any timeframe.
🔹 Key Features
Valuation Ribbon
The blended valuation is drawn as a ribbon against its signal line, in one tone while it rises and another while it falls, so you can see when a premium starts to fade or a discount starts to recover.
Slow Model Backdrop
A soft area behind the ribbon shows the slow model's reading on its own, in the premium or discount color, so short term swings can be read against the broader valuation.
Premium and Discount Zones
Shaded zones beyond the extreme level mark readings that are rare for this symbol and timeframe. Because the scale is calibrated on the symbol's own history, a reading of 90 means the same thing on a quiet stock and on a volatile crypto pair.
Agreement Gauges
A premium gauge at the top and a discount gauge at the bottom light up when both models sit on the same side of fair value. They are drawn solid when the ribbon also points the same way and lighter when it does not.
Release Marks
Small triangles mark the bar where the valuation leaves an extreme zone, above the line when a premium releases and below it when a discount releases.
Fair Value Series
The fast and slow fair values and both model readings are available as hidden series for scanners and custom conditions.
Settings
Price Source, Fast and Slow Model Length and Calibration Length shape the models and their calibration, Extreme Level sets the zones, and the ribbon, backdrop, gauges and marks can each be switched off.
Built In Signals
Deep Discount Entered, Deep Premium Entered, Discount Released and Premium Released are available for alerts, scanners and strategies.
