Hyperbolic Manifold Network: Real Machine Learning Concepts (Ĥ-RMLC)
By: Dskyz | DAFE Trading Systems
Flat-chart assumptions are a mathematical lie. Markets do not live in Euclidean space—they form hierarchical, exponentially expanding phase spaces. Standard indicators force these structures onto flat grids, distorting market state during volatility. Ĥ-RMLC projects market state onto a negatively curved hyperbolic manifold where geometric distance equals regime dissimilarity.
The Core Idea
Hyperbolic geometry expands exponentially, offering infinite capacity for complex market states without distortion. Ĥ-RMLC runs three isometric gyrovector representations every bar: Lorentz (hyperboloid depth/position), Klein (straight geodesics & adaptive gyro-clustering), and Proper Velocity (relativistic momentum saturating near the speed of light).
What Actually Runs Under the Hood
- Three Gyrovector Representations: Concurrent Lorentz position embedding, Klein k-means with adaptive birth/death, and Proper Velocity relativistic momentum.
- Adaptive Gyro-Clustering: Hyperbolic k-means where prototypes birth when state strays and prune when idle/low-utility.
- Usefulness-Pruned Hyperbolic Memory: Lorentzian depth-bracketed memory tree ($O(log n)$ binary search) pruned by accuracy, recency, and reuse.
- Tangent-Net Feature Engine: Neural net trained on hyperbolic invariants (depth, geodesic step, cluster dist, PV speed) with cycle-annealed learning rates ($eta$).
- RLS Multi-Expert Fusion: Recursive Least Squares dynamically balances 6 experts (Tangent Net, Memory, Gyro-Clusters, PV Saturation, Delta, Field State) calibrated via a Cauchy CDF.
- Curvature AGC: Automatic Gain Control dynamically tunes curvature ($c$) to balance depth as volatility shifts.
The Living Manifold
Four lower-panel visualization modes let you inspect manifold dynamics live:
- Geodesic Event Raster: BMU cluster path, step size, and transition traffic.
- Hyperboloid Constellation Lattice: Cluster stars, memory fragments, and state tethers on a curved sheet.
- Gyrovector Orbitarium: Nested curvature orbits, light horizon, and transition chords.
- Worldline Synaptic River: Lorentz worldline depth, expert braids, and memory retrieval arcs.

Known Limitations
Hyperbolic k-means and memory trees require warm-up history. Tangent-net backprop operates on hyperbolic invariants rather than full Riemannian SGD. Footprint delta is synthesized from candle geometry and volume. This is a research-grade manifold engine, not a certified black-box printer.
Curvature over flatness. Geodesics over straight lines. Manifold over myth.

While flat-space indicators compress market volatility into distorted averages, this engine maps regime transitions on a negatively curved hyperboloid.
Good luck navigating a non-Euclidean market with a flat moving average.
