Multi-Asset Correlations by YX Insights
See how your asset moves across risk regimes — Visualise correlations vs stocks, bonds, or any benchmark at a glance.
The Multi-Asset Correlations indicator reveals how your chosen symbol moves relative to two benchmarks — by default, SPY (equities) and TLT (long-term Treasuries).
It calculates rolling correlations to show when an asset aligns with risk-on (equities rising) or risk-off (bonds rallying) conditions, helping traders spot macro rotations and sentiment shifts early.
You can freely customise the benchmarks — for example, compare TSLA vs GLD and IBIT, or NVDA vs QQQ and TLT — and adjust the rolling window length to match your preferred timeframe or trading horizon.
For crypto symbols, using ETF proxies (like IBIT, BITO, or GBTC) is required to align trading sessions with traditional markets.
Best used for:
• Detecting macro regime transitions (risk-on ↔ risk-off)
• Measuring diversification and correlation breakdowns
• Confirming inter-market confluence in equities, crypto, and commodities
• Tactical timing with adjustable correlation lookbacks (5–252 bars)
Features:
• Dual rolling correlation vs two selectable benchmarks
• Customisable rolling period length
• Dotted reference guides at +0.8, 0, and −0.8
• Works seamlessly on any timeframe and asset class
