TrendSpider Software Update: Multi Symbol View

Hey, everybody, and welcome to another software update from your friends at TrendSpider. We’re happy to announce the addition of Multi-Symbol View to the platform. Details after the jump!

Here at TrendSpider, we take great pride in hearing our customer’s requests and implementing them to the best of our ability. Multi-Symbol View is a functionality that our users have been requesting for some time, and we’re happy to announce that we’ve finally brought it to the platform.

How To Enable Multi-Symbol View

Multi-Symbol View is available now as its own unique workspace. In order to access it, simply click on your name in the top right corner of your chart and then select the ‘Multi-Symbol View’ option.

Once your Multi-Symbol View workspace is loaded up, you’ll note a small drop-down menu in the upper left-hand corner of your chart that will read ‘4×4’. It’s here that you can adjust the layout of your workspace. You can choose any combination between 1×1 and 4×4, with 16 being the max amount of charts viewable within this workspace.

Multi-Symbol View Functionality

There are no limitations on what tickers you can choose. You can mix and match crypto, stocks, futures, and forex across the 16 individual panes.

In order to select different symbols for each individual pane, click on the bold ticker title in the top left corner of the pane. The menu that contains the ticker, the candle style, timeframe, etc. will appear and you can enter the symbol of your choice.

Finally, if you’d like a video walk-through of how to access and configure this new workspace, our very own Dan Ushman has got you covered!

NEW Feature! Multi-Symbol View

If you have any further questions about this new workspace, feel free to reach out to us in chat via the ‘Contact Us’ button in the bottom right-hand corner of your charts!

Note: The Multi-Symbol View workspace was specifically designed with the active trader in mind. Because of that, it lacks some of the functionality that TrendSpider users might be used to. You can utilize the drawings and alerts, but if you’re interested in testing your strategy, scanning, or viewing the data contained within the sidebar, you’ll need to switch over to a standard workspace.
