In this blog post, we take a look at major improvements for segment annotation, as well as a bundle of new indicators added. Enjoy these new features and improvements!
Segment Annotation Improvements
The Segment Line tool just got a whole lot better. You may now re-position each endpoint, no more deleting a line after every time you need to position! Along with this comes the ability to label your segment lines choosing from a variety of options to fit your specific needs. We will dive into all the individual improvements below.
Flexible Endpoints
Select Alt – L on your keyboard and draw your line segment; after selecting the second point you will see two dots appear at each end. Select either side to move and reposition your segment.
Segment Annotation
Now that your line segment is in position, right-click and select properties. In the properties menu, you will now see a variety of labeling options to choose from. In this example, we are choosing to show “Arrow”, “Price Range”, and “Date Range”.
Segment Annotation Customization
Price action getting in the way of your annotation? Consider adding a background, or using <b> <b>, or <i> <i> to bold or italicize the text. As always, line stroke and background opacity are manipulatable.
