Hello everyone! Today we are excited to release an upgrade to our fundamental toolset with the new Insider Trading Widget. Want insight into the behaviors of insiders for each company? Now you can. More details below, enjoy!

What is Insider Trading?

Insider trading is the trading of a public company’s stock or other securities (such as bonds or stock options) based on material, nonpublic information about the company.

Why is watching insider movements useful in your analysis?

Insider purchase and sale records can be useful in a number of ways, primarily to read the underlying internal sediment for a company.

Stock downtrending but many insiders buying? Might want to consider a position at a technical level that makes sense.

Really love a breakout stock but the industry insiders are selling? May want to proceed with caution on that particular asset.

Use the information from TrendSpider’s Insider Trading widget to trade like an insider.
