SNOW CEO Frank Slootman Resigns

Veteran tech executive Frank Slootman, has stepped down as CEO of SNOW (Snowflake, Inc.). He will, however, remain with the company, assuming his new role as chairman of the board.

On Thursday, the stock experienced its largest single-day drop since its IPO after issuing guidance that fell short of expectations and announcing Slootman’s departure. Interestingly, he has spent the last several months selling more than $250M in shares.

Slootman will be replaced by former head of Google Ads, Sridhar Ramaswamy.
