October delivered a focused set of improvements to TrendSpider aimed at making AI workflows smoother, content publishing smarter, and workspace management faster. Here’s what changed.

Quality of Life Updates

Workspace Templates (Desktop Only)

  • You can now create workspaces from ready-made templates (available on screens wider than 1330px).
  • If you already created a workspace from a specific template, you won’t be able to create another one from that same template to avoid clutter and confusion.
  • “Mobile workspace” is no longer a dedicated button and is now just a link.
  • Multi-Symbol View and Dashboards now show quick-access buttons at the top (Scanner, Strategies, etc.) for faster navigation.

Sidekick AI Updates

Smart Model Switching for Long Chats

  • Sidekick now automatically switches from Claude 3.7 to Claude 4.5 when a conversation gets too long for 3.7’s context window.
  • This helps longer research/chat sessions stay uninterrupted.

AI Buttons on Charts

  • Charts now have an AI button next to the full-screen and screenshot buttons.
  • When you click this button, Sidekick will summarize your chart and recent news events.
  • To keep the UI clean, these buttons stay hidden until you hover over the chart.

Custom Scripting Updates

Custom JS AI Coding Now Uses Claude 4.5

  • The AI that helps write custom JavaScript indicators has been upgraded to Claude 4.5.
  • In many cases, you can now paste Pine Script and ask the assistant to convert it to JavaScript, and it will produce a usable result.

TrendSpider Store Updates

Opt In or Out of Store Promotions

  • When publishing a paid item to the Store, creators can now choose whether they want to participate in TrendSpider Store promotions.
  • You can change this preference at any time.
  • More details are in the help article.

New Stats for Paid Publishers

  • Publishers of paid content can now see high-level metrics like how many active trials they have and how many trials are set to cancel.
  • This gives Store creators better visibility into how their products are performing.
