November delivered a focused set of upgrades to TrendSpider, improving how creators present their tools, expanding drawing capabilities, and bringing human language input into the Strategy Tester. Here’s everything new this month.
Quality of Life Updates
Standardized Preview Images for Shared Indicators
- Creators can now set a dedicated preview chart when sharing indicators.
- This preview chart is fully customizable and does not affect your saved workspace.
- All preview images now use a standardized size, ensuring consistent presentation across all screen sizes.
- Previously, preview images were captured from the user’s active chart, which meant inconsistent sizing depending on workspace layout and monitor resolution.

Store Image Preview Cleanup
- All Store images that previously displayed a yellow
[JS]badge have been replaced with clean, badge-free versions. - With the new preview system in place, authors of top Store indicators are encouraged to review their listings and update any preview images that need improvement.
Horizontal Drawings Can Extend Left
- Horizontal figures such as squares, horizontal lines, and Fibonacci levels can now extend to the left, not just the right.
- This makes it easier to anchor drawings historically or span levels that begin earlier in the chart.
Strategy Tester Updates
Human Language Input Now Supported
- Human-language input is now available inside the Strategy Tester.
- You can describe conditions in plain English, and TrendSpider will generate the corresponding script.
- Important note: this works for individual script conditions, not full multi-step strategy definitions.
- You cannot paste a complete entry/exit strategy and expect it to build the entire strategy automatically.
